Membership of ICP will confer the following benefits:
Applicants should be currently studying a relevant management or specialist programmme. The applicant should have completed the first year of a course of studies or be qualified up to andvance level (QCF) Level 4.
Associate Member - AICP (Dip.ICP) -Level 5 Academic Standing= Higher National Diploma(HND)
Applicants should have completed one of the following: QCF Level 5 Specialist Management Diploma, appropriate City and Guilds course, Business and Technology Education Council (BTEC), Scottish Vocational and Educational Training (SCOTVEC) or Scottish Qualifications Awards (SQA) awards. Also those with three years relevant professional experience in management and other discipline may be accepted.
Graduateship Member - GICP (Dip.GICP) - Level 6 Academic standing= Bachelor(hons) degree
Applicants should have completed one of the following: Specialised Bachelor of Management, Accounting HRM, Health and social care, Marketing, Law Degree, QCF Level 6, appropriate City and Guilds course, BTEC or SCOTVEC/SQA awards. Also those with relevant professional qualifications and/or appropriate experience as a specialist manager may be accepted.
Full Member - MICP (Dip.MICP) level 7 Academic Standing= Masters degree
Applicants should have completed one of the following: Specialised master Degree, QCF Level 7, appropriate City and Guilds course, BTEC or SCOTVEC/SQA awards. Also those with relevant professional qualifications and/or appropriate experience as a specialist manager may be accepted.
Fellow - FICP (Dip.FICP) - Level 8 Academic Standing= Doctorate degree
Applicants should have completed one of the following: Specialist Master or Doctorate Degree or NQF Level 7 or 8 and 6 years experience in a particular discipline, chartered professional and senior management courses. Senior professionals with at least five years experience holding chartered professional qualifications may also be accepted. Level 8 diploma in strategic direction, EBMA level 8 diploma, CIMA qualifications at level 7 ICAN Fellows in Nigeria with masters degrees.
Doctorate- DICP (Dip.DICP) special Award of Doctorate of institute of chartered professionals
Doctoral graduate, QCF Level 8 and those in a senior management or specialist position. Current ICP Fellows currently working in a senior management position may also be accepted. A written project work or a body of knowledge in your special area of expertise will be substituted as a dissertation for those with Masters degrees. DICP Award is available in all Professional field and candidate should have a minimum of 15 years experience in that field.
Certification: DICP $700
Fellowship membership 120 dollars yearly
Fellowship Award 700 dollars lifetime
Some applicant can also will exempted but subject to the approval of the committee

- The equivalent worldwide qualifications will apply in each grade.
- Application can be made to be upgraded to the next level of membership as further Knowledge, Skills and Experience (K.S.E.) is gained.
